SKINSURE ULTRA - ACTIVE AGAINST MRSA

SkinSure Ultra is a lotion to protect against the spread of infection when handling and caring for patients at home or in hospital.

A long-lasting barrier lotion giving 3 hours or more protection which has been formulated for use in environements with a high risk of exposure to bacteria (Care Homes/Hospitals/Surgeries).

Before applying to skin area, place a small amount of lotion onto the palm of the hand. Rub in well, including the back of the hand, between fingers and under fingernails. You are now ready to apply to your own skin problem.

On small wounds, apply lotion every 3 hours. On larger open wounds, we recommend applying the lotion to gauze, putting the gauze over the wound, and covering with a bandage. Change every 4 hours.

As an added precaution, in addition to existing hygiene practises in hospital situations, the lotion should be applied to the operation area a minimum of 30 minutes before going to theatre. The lotion should be rubbed in over a wide area, including the actual operation site. After theatre, continue applying the lotion around the area of the dressing and, if possible, request anyone treating the patient to apploy the lotion to their hands before they handle them.

This product has undergone limited clinical trials and will be undergoing further rigorous trials soon. It is therefore supplied solely as a moisturising, anti-bacterial, skin conditioning barrier lotion to be used at your own discretion.
